ACI Marina Palmižana on the car-free island of Sveti Klement offers a unique blend of a quiet base and a 10-minute water-taxi ride to Hvar Town.
The island is statistically the sunniest in Croatia — more than 2,700 hours of sunshine a year, exceeding Palermo and Athens. That gives predictability for long summer programmes and photographic assets. The August lavender fields are a visual story of their own and regularly become the hero visual of our clients' brand campaigns.
Stari Grad on the northern shore is a UNESCO site protecting the ancient Greek agricultural field system from the 4th century BC. For teams interested in a narrative programme we arrange tours with an archaeologist, a study of the ancient plantation system, and lunch at the Tomić winery, which has worked the same land for 2,400 years.

The gastronomy programme on Hvar is a product in itself. We work with six partner restaurants and wineries, plus one Michelin-starred kitchen (Gariful, the only one in the region). The Tomić, Plančić and Bastijana wineries give access to private tasting programmes with wines that never reach commercial retail. For VVIP programmes we arrange chef charters ashore in one of the private bays.
The nightlife on Hvar Town means Carpe Diem Beach, Hula Hula and Falko. For a corporate programme that opens up the option to "take the island" — hiring a beach club for the night with your own DJ and catering. The minimum booking is €15,000 for an evening, arranged four to six months ahead. For tech clients it often becomes the most talked-about moment of the whole offsite.

Can we hire a beach club on Hvar for a corporate programme?
Yes — we work with three clubs: Carpe Diem Beach, Hula Hula and Falko. A private hire starts at €15,000 for an evening, with a minimum of four to six months to book. It includes the DJ, catering and security. At the August peak a hire is possible on weekdays only.
Is Hvar suitable for large groups?
Up to 80 participants, yes. Palmižana takes a flotilla of up to 12 yachts. For larger groups (100-plus) we split the berthing: half the fleet at Palmižana, half at Stari Grad on the northern shore. It is more complex logistically but possible with planning 9 to 12 months ahead.
What is special about the Hvar wineries?
Tomić, Plančić and Bastijana are the three key wineries, all producing on the UNESCO-listed land of the Stari Grad Plain. Tasting programmes run 90 to 120 minutes at €80 to €120 per person with lunch. The minimum is 10 participants, the maximum 50 in one group.
How much does a programme on Hvar cost?
From €500 per person per night, with an actual average bill of €620 to €750. It is the premium segment even by Adriatic standards, driven by the cost of berths at Palmižana and the general service level on the island. The minimum is three nights and 10 participants.
When is the best time for Hvar?
June and September are ideal for the balance of weather and tourist density. July is the peak with the highest price and traffic. August brings the lavender fields, but Palmižana can be fully booked. May and October suit quiet strategy offsites with minimal noise.
