Italy · Amalfi Coast

Corporate yachting in Amalfi Coast.

The Amalfi Coast is the most recognisable film location in the world and one of the most demanding for a corporate offsite. The famous towns (Positano, Amalfi, Ravello) technically have no marina able to host a flotilla. Our corporate base is therefore Marina d'Arechi in Salerno, 50 minutes from Naples NAP airport, from which we run day trips to the legendary coastlines.

The entire coast is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and that status imposes strict limits on commercial operations. Berthing in Positano or Amalfi is possible only at anchor in an open bay with a tender ashore. Capri is a separate island, reachable only at anchor with a mandatory excursion licence. All these limits need building into the programme six to nine months ahead.

The main sailing value is Capri and its legendary Faraglioni — two 100-plus-metre rock stacks off the south-western shore. The approach under the Faraglioni is the emotional peak of the programme, a frame recognised worldwide. There are also the Blue Grotto, the Green Grotto and the Da Luigi ai Faraglioni beach club — a private VIP venue reachable only by water taxi.

What makes it different

Why Amalfi Coast

Three facts our routes are built on. Every data point is verified and drawn from our validated destinations dataset.

  • 01

The main corporate base is Marina d'Arechi in Salerno, as famous coastal towns such as Positano have no marina able to host a flotilla.

  • 02

The entire coast is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offering a unique landscape of terraced villages and dramatic cliffs.

  • 03

The climax of any route is the sail around the island of Capri to see the famous Faraglioni rocks from the sea.

What you can run

4 formats for different goals.

Of the six formats our portal supports, Amalfi Coast offers:

Cruise and offsite

Team building on the water

Incentive trip

Client event

The gastronomy programme on the Amalfi Coast is one of the most interesting in the Mediterranean. Don Alfonso 1890 (two Michelin stars, Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi), Quattro Passi (two stars, Massa Lubrense), La Tortillera (Positano, a private chef charter to the yacht). On Capri there is Mamma Lina (one star, an exclusive eight-seat room) and the Da Luigi ai Faraglioni beach club, booked six months ahead.

The coast's logistics call for patience. The main difficulty is the lack of a proper road network between Salerno and Sorrento — the legendary Amalfi Drive is a narrow hairpin road — so 90 % of movement happens under sail or by tender. That gives an unexpected advantage for a corporate programme: the team literally cannot "step ashore to make a call", which suits focused strategy offsites well.

FAQ

What buyers ask us most.

Eight questions we receive every week from HR directors and CEOs. Not finding yours? Drop us a line — we reply within 24 hours.

Why is the base Marina d'Arechi in Salerno, not Positano?
Positano, Amalfi and Ravello are UNESCO sites with no full marina — berthing is possible only at anchor in an open bay. Marina d'Arechi in Salerno is a full commercial marina 50 minutes from Naples NAP, from which we run day trips to the famous coastlines.
Can we stop on Capri?
Only at anchor — Marina Grande on Capri has limited capacity and is rarely available for flotillas. The standard scenario is a day call with a tour of the Faraglioni and the Blue Grotto, lunch at Mamma Lina or Da Luigi, and a tender back to the yachts by evening.
How much does a programme on the Amalfi Coast cost?
From €550 per person per night. It is mid-range in our Italian portfolio — more expensive than Sardinia for the logistics, but the emotional asset is unique. It includes the yacht, crew, marina fees in Salerno, basic catering and insurance. Capri is a separate excursion licence at €120 per participant.
When is the best time?
May, June and September. July and August are the peak with the highest prices and a crowded coast. In August many Italian providers close for Ferragosto — programmes are possible but call for extra planning six months ahead.
What is the maximum group size?
Up to 35 participants. Marina d'Arechi takes a flotilla of up to 8 yachts, but Capri and Positano limit the simultaneous presence of tenders in the harbour. Programmes of 50-plus are technically possible but call for splitting into two parallel groups.
