Corporate yachting in Dubrovnik.

Dubrovnik — the "Pearl of the Adriatic" — is one of the most recognisable corporate backdrops in the world. ACI Marina Dubrovnik sits in the sheltered mouth of the Rijeka Dubrovačka 6 km from the old town, an ideal blend of a quiet base and access to a world-class UNESCO site. The 1,940 metres of 25-metre-high city walls make an ideal backdrop for brand photography and private corporate dinners.

Dubrovnik's main strategic value is direct access to Mljet National Park. It is one of the oldest marine protected areas in the Mediterranean, and our routes include entering the Great and Small Lakes, visiting the 12th-century Benedictine monastery and lunch in the sheltered bay of Pomena. For teams with ESG targets that delivers a strong, documented sustainable-yachting asset.

DBV airport is 30 minutes from the marina, with direct flights from 25-plus European cities. The baseline range is €450 to €700 per person per night, with English at level 4 of 5. Programmes from Dubrovnik are traditionally more premium and quieter than from Split: fewer regattas, more cruising offsites and private client events.

What makes it different

Why Dubrovnik

Three facts our routes are built on. Every data point is verified and drawn from our validated destinations dataset.

  • 01

Routes give direct access to Mljet National Park — one of the oldest marine protected areas in the Mediterranean.

  • 02

The main flotilla base, ACI Marina Dubrovnik, sits uniquely in the sheltered mouth of the Rijeka Dubrovačka, 6 km from the old town.

  • 03

The 1,940-metre city walls create a uniquely recognisable backdrop for corporate sailing photography and events.

Client event

Transfer logistics from DBV airport is among the smoothest on the Adriatic — a direct corridor on the new A1 motorway with no traffic lights, 30 minutes from the terminal to the dock. For VVIP clients we arrange a helicopter shuttle (a five-minute flight) with a pad next to Marina Dubrovnik. For large groups we use a staged protocol: a simultaneous arrival of 100-plus people is split into three corridors with three operations managers.

Gastronomy in Dubrovnik is unevenly developed. Inside the city walls, the tourist peak makes a reservation for 80-plus people impossible even six months ahead. We solve this by working with three private venues: Restaurant 360 (Michelin-starred, exclusively ours on Mondays), Villa Argentina (a private hire for 100 people) and Cavtat Marina, 16 km south, with a premium kitchen and no crowds.

What clients say.

Three quotes from closed corporate programmes over the last two seasons. Names and companies withheld under NDA.

The closing dinner on the Dubrovnik walls was the most memorable corporate event of my career. Eighty partners still write to me about that evening three years later.

Mljet gave us an ESG asset the company's portfolio simply did not have. A documented programme, photos and video — it all went into the annual sustainability report.

Transfer logistics from DBV ran so smoothly that we barely noticed 60 directors gather at a single point. That is a rarity in our industry.

FAQ

What buyers ask us most.

Eight questions we receive every week from HR directors and CEOs. Not finding yours? Drop us a line — we reply within 24 hours.

Can we arrange a dinner inside the Dubrovnik city walls?
Yes — we work with three private venues: Restaurant 360 (Michelin-starred), Villa Argentina and a private terrace above the port. Booking needs at least four months; high-season prices are €180 to €280 per person without drinks. For large groups (80-plus) we consider a private hire.
What does a standard route from Dubrovnik include?
Day 1: Dubrovnik to Lokrum, lunch in a sheltered bay. Day 2: Mljet (the Great Lake and monastery). Day 3: Šipan or Korčula. Day 4: Lopud in the Elaphiti Islands. Day 5: back to Dubrovnik and a closing dinner on the walls.
What about regattas from Dubrovnik?
Dubrovnik is not a core regatta centre — that is Split and Mallorca. However, we run mid-size regattas of 6 to 8 yachts in the surrounding waters, particularly in early May and late September when tourist traffic is lower. IRC handicap rules.
How much does a programme from Dubrovnik cost?
From €450 per person per night. Given the higher average service standard and the cost of logistics in the historic centre, the actual average bill is €580 to €700. It includes the yacht, crew, marina fees, basic catering and insurance.
When is the season in Dubrovnik?
From May to October. The peak is July and August, but we recommend May, June and September: fewer tourists, prices 15 to 20 % lower, and far easier access to venues. October is possible but the weather is already less predictable.
