Sailing Teambuilding
Corporate sailing

Corporate sailing for modern teams

An umbrella programme for CEOs and HR directors who want to build an offsite around their own goals — not buy a packaged tour. Seven formats: regatta, team building, strategy offsite, corporate event, leadership programme, incentive, client event — one fleet, one contract.

Format

Corporate sailing, organised end to end

Corporate sailing is not simply 'rent a yacht'. It is careful organisation: a detailed itinerary, a transparent budget your procurement team can sign off, a single contract with a European company, GDPR-compliant logistics, and €3M liability cover.

We work for the corporate buyer who reads TechCrunch in the morning and signs non-disclosure agreements in the afternoon. One person stays on the line from the first brief to the closing dinner — no handoffs, no five different account managers. 247 events delivered, and 80% of clients come back for a second season.

Inside the umbrella sit seven formats, each built for a different goal. A regatta when you want competition and clear KPI tracking. Team building when the team dynamic needs work. A strategy offsite when leadership steps away to plan the year. A corporate event when 100+ guests gather for a year-end celebration. A leadership programme when you are developing next-generation directors. An incentive trip to reward top performers. A client event to take key partners to sea.

All seven formats run on the same partner fleet — 32 bases across 14 EU countries. One contract, one invoice, one point of contact for procurement. You can come in with a single task and leave with a plan for the whole year.

Case study · 2025

Eighty partners, one regatta, Côte d’Azur.

A top-tier European law firm marked its centenary on the water: eight chartered yachts, three days of friendly racing, NDA-compliant logistics, and a closing dinner ashore. We delivered under a single contract and a single point of contact for the managing partner’s executive assistant.

Three days at sea changed how the leadership team works together. We’ll be back next year.

FAQ

What buyers ask us most.

Eight questions we receive every week from HR directors and CEOs. Not finding yours? Drop us a line — we reply within 24 hours.

Can we sign a framework contract for the year?
Yes. The umbrella format is exactly that — a framework agreement. One contract covers 1-7 events a year: a regatta in spring, a team building in summer, a strategy offsite in autumn, a corporate event in winter. Procurement signs once.
How many events a year do clients usually run?
The average client runs 2-3 events a year: one large (a regatta or corporate event for 80-150 people) plus 1-2 smaller, more intimate ones (a strategy offsite, a leadership programme). Top clients reach 5-7 events — almost the full season.
Can the formats be combined?
Yes, and most clients do. The most popular combination is a regatta plus a strategy offsite in one trip: half the day for racing and team building, half for case work and planning. Many say it is the best part of their year.
Who are the skippers and facilitators?
Skippers are experienced professionals with international qualifications, at least 5 years of commercial practice, reference checks with previous employers, and English plus the local language of the base. Facilitators are separate certified coaches (ICF, CPCC) — not crew members. No 'the skipper will talk about team dynamics'.
What about GDPR and NDAs?
A standard DPA is signed before the start. All data stays on EU servers, with no transfer outside the union. An NDA template is included and covers us, the crews, facilitators and shore partners. Standard practice for law firms and fintech.
Which locations are available?
24 bases across 7 EU countries: Croatia (Split, Dubrovnik, Hvar), Greece (Athens, Mykonos, Santorini, Corfu, Rhodes, Halkidiki), Italy (Sardinia, Amalfi, Portofino, Naples, Sicily, Venice, Liguria), Spain (Balearics, Barcelona, Costa Brava, Valencia), France (Côte d'Azur), Monaco and Portugal. We pick what works best for your team's flights.
Can we run a single trial event before a framework contract?
Of course. Most clients start exactly this way: one regatta or one strategy offsite, then expand into the umbrella format the following year. No pressure — a framework contract is for those who already know they want 3+ events a year.
How do we book?
Press 'Get a brief' above. We come back within 24 hours with a price range and a draft itinerary. No card, no commitment until a contract is signed. If you prefer a call, leave a number in the form and we will phone you.
