Corporate Yacht Charter for 30 People

Thirty people is the scale at which a flotilla starts to work as a system in its own right. Three yachts of ten guests each, a skipper on every boat, a race officer on the water and a hostess ashore. The group is large enough for genuine teams to form inside it, and small enough that nobody gets lost in the crowd.

How we split a group of 30 across the yachts

We assemble three identical 41-46 foot monohulls and place ten people on each boat. Crews are built cross-functionally: we mix departments so the offsite strengthens horizontal links rather than reinforcing existing cliques. When senior leaders and middle managers attend together, we put them on separate yachts — that gives middle management the chance to work alongside the C-level in an informal setting. Each yacht has a licensed skipper plus one volunteer helper from the team.

The four-day programme

The standard arc: day one is arrival, the welcome dinner and crew briefings; day two is a short leg, a daytime regatta and a debrief; day three is a longer passage with team challenges aboard and dinner at a landmark restaurant; day four is the final race, the awards ceremony and the return transfer. Ninety-minute facilitated sessions sit between the legs — a retrospective on the race, a discussion of the team's strategy for the year ahead, and voting for the awards (Most Valuable Skipper, Best Comeback, Spirit Award).

What a corporate offsite for 30 costs

The budget for thirty people breaks down as follows: the lean tariff (3 days, entry-fleet monohulls, basic catering) is €1,500-€1,800 per person; the signature tariff (4 days, premium monohulls, a facilitator, elevated catering) is €1,800-€2,400; the premium tariff (5 days, luxury catamarans, an onboard chef, a photographer, a hostess on every boat) is €2,600-€3,200. Every figure is per person for the whole trip, including yachts, crew, marina fees, basic catering and insurance. Returning clients and bookings confirmed four or more months out receive an 8-10% discount.

The best destinations for a group of 30

Split remains the universal choice: ten convenient anchorages within a three-hour sail, regular flights from every key city, and moderate prices for dinners and transfers. Palma de Mallorca is the premium option with short legs and a strong restaurant scene. Cannes and Nice suit C-level and client events where the value lies in the prestige of the location. Detailed routes for these cities sit in the destination cards and in the calculator.
